Paddling in La Porte’s lakes isn’t just about being on the water, it’s about the experience. Here are a few highlights that make kayaking unique.

Wildlife Sightings: Early mornings often bring herons, ducks, turtles, and the occasional deer along the shoreline.

Exercise: Kayaking is a full-body workout that builds strength and endurance while being easy on the joints.

Peace & Quiet: Kayaks can slip into coves and channels motorboats can’t reach, giving you space to truly relax.

Exploration: Paddle around Holmes Island on Pine Lake or through the connecting channel between Pine and Stone Lakes.

Family-Friendly Fun: Tandem kayaks make it easy for beginners, kids, or those who just want a more relaxed pace.
