Soldier’s Memorial Park Loop
General Description
The 4.4-mile loop at Soldiers Memorial Park is a natural woodland trail that winds through rolling forest terrain, offering hikers a peaceful escape into the trees without leaving the city.
The path is mostly narrow dirt singletrack, with gentle climbs, rooty sections, and a few small wooden bridges that add to its character.
While the trail was originally built for mountain biking, it’s also well-loved by hikers and runners who enjoy a more rugged, back-to-nature experience. The loop provides a satisfying balance - long enough to feel like an outing, but easy to follow as it circles back to the trailhead.
